Give the Gift of a Celebration

General donations help make The Happy Birthday Program possible. Your support makes us provide thoughtful, personalized birthday celebrations for children in the Greater Moncton Area whose families are experiencing financial hardship.

From gifts and party supplies to the many little details that make a birthday feel special, every contribution helps us create celebrations that remind children they are seen, valued and worth celebrating.

Monetary Donations

Help make The Happy Birthday Program possible. Financial donations support birthday celebrations as well as the day-to-day costs of running and growing the program, allowing us to help more children in our community.

Please note: The Happy Birthday Program is not a registered charity and is unable to issue official donation receipts for income tax purposes.

Important Donation Information

Donation Guidelines

We gratefully accept new, unused items in their original packaging. For hygiene and safety reasons, we are unable to accept used toys, clothing or opening and expired food items. Local donations can be arranged directly with The Happy Birthday Program

Donation Stewardship

General item donations are prioritized for upcoming birthday celebrations. If an item cannot be appropriately matched with a child within approximately six months, it may be used to support another local community initiative, such as back-to-school drives, community pantries or other community programs where it can be put to good use.

Tax Receipts

The Happy Birthday Program is a grassroots community program and is not a registered charity. We are therefore unable to issue official charitable donation receipts for monetary or in-kind donations.
